Custom Maps are in danger.

Today one posted this in ideas and suggestion:

As map-player a can see that this is clearly a idea that perjudicates the existance of maps and what is worst, is supported by people that clearly dont respect the work of our stimates cartographs.
Do your part, express your not acceptation of this.

I'd say you should comment on this in that particular topic instead of making a whole new useless topic about exactly the same. Your view will also be explained in that topic if you post something there.
