This is a full remake of the original atWar Holy Grail War by Zephyrusu. The Holy Grail War is based on 7 mages summoning 7 Servants based on different historical and mythological characters. For practical purposes we are going to use atWar "legends" instead. There will be plenty of player interaction, but the outcome won't really depend on player merit or skill, it's more of an interactive story than a game. Servants There are seven servant classes that your summons will be grouped under:
Catalysts You may also pick one of the following catalysts to summon your Servants (People will know what catalyst you picked but they won't know which Servant you summoned, please keep it secret for the sake of suspense.)
Masters Your characters will be named after yourselves, you can design a character background on which I will base your character (must be a Magus) but if you don't, I will make one myself. Just for sake of simplicity there is the following restrictions: Characters must be 18-30 years old. Characters must be either be enrolled in High School, be a tourist from America or a local that earns less than 35k a year. i.e the highest paying job is Teacher. The Holy Grail War takes place in a mysterious no-name city within the Balkans. Depending on what you pick there is the following bonuses: High School Students = You can't do Movement & Reconnaissance during the day [Since you are at school]. You can't be Attacked during the day and thus can do training without worries. Tourist = You stand out and thus are twice as likely as being detected during movement. Teacher = You roll a passive Reconnaissance check with a +1 modifier at the school during the Day. You will automatically be revealed as a Master if seen at odds places for a teacher to be at. You can't be detected at the School during the Day. Local/NEET = You will automatically be revealed as a Master if you do a Reconnaissance at the school. Turns and Phases Masters and Servants can be separated, thus they can do their own separated turns. 1) Day Movement & Reconnaissance [Move to a location, you can roll a 1d6 for Reconnaissance, 1 = You are detected by the other master, 2-4 = nothing happens, 5-6 = you detect any master in the area]. Training & Fortification [Increase your roll by +3 vs a specific servant, -2 vs the rest] [Fortification = roll a 1d6, if +4 fortification increases by +1] Fortification levels: 1 = +1 to battle rolls, masters who pass through this area will reveal their next location 2 = +2 to battle rolls, masters who pass through this are will be identified and their next location will be revealed 3 = +4 to battle rolls, masters & servants who pass through this are will be identified and their next location will be revealed 4 = +6 to battle rolls, masters & servants who pass through this area are trapped and identified. 5 = +9 to battle rolls, defeated servants are stolen. 2) Night Same as Above. Combat Rules a 3d6 is rolled when a servant fights another servant. 3-7 the attacker loses. 8-13 there is a stalemate and both sides are allowed to retreat. 14-18 the attacker defeats the other servant. If the attacking servant has a master while fighting a servant without a master, add a +2. If multiple servants are fighting another servant, add an extra 1d6 +2 per servant. There is also a neutral Church Overseer, basically a faggot who sits there and tries to keep things from exploding completely as people are not supposed to know about magic in the setting. Masters who lost their servant can still survive the holy war by asking the Overseer for Sanctuary, thus he will protect you from other masters and servants. If you attack people in open broad light then a secret modifier is going to go up and the Church Overseer might behave more proactive at his job. Also any questions or rules not addressed in this post are intentionally left as such, that way you go and ask the Overseer for questions. If you want to join, just post your Name, Background and Catalyst.

Supposing this even starts, I use a scenario master race catalyst, my character is a highschool student from a long Magus line that specialises in boredom magic, who wishes to use the power of the Grail to make anime real

My character will be a high school (i.e. and/or e.g. NEET and/or Magus) drop-out warlock assassin consisting of 9 hit points and 16 battle rolls, with a servant-esque fortified covert reconnaissance objective. I'd prefer no catalysts unless you authorize the precipitous, prima facie "Dura Lex Sed Lex" sequestration appeal, the bourgeois ipso facto stare decisis panglossian correspondence virtue point, or the unscrupulous "Expressio Unius Est Exclusio Alterius" doctrine which, for all intents in purposes, I do not support. It goes against my tautological telos, inter alia—the character of my character, in other words.
