I assure you this is not a shock, lol.

Syria says it shot down a Turkish 2 seater F4 Phantom jet fighter today. Turkey is also a NATO member. Will this be a Desert Storm 2.0? Will US troops see action? Will this be another Libya? Will Syrias Chinese and Russian allies join the fray?

Discuss.

By that I meant it's a real news story, not a scary gif.A war would be a bad thing.

Come on. Russia and China will only watch IF NATO takes Syria appart. But the Turks seem to be reasonable enough to not let things escalate.

Heard about this on the news.

NATO should totally kick their asses. Or maybe Turkey can invade, the whole rotten structure will collapse in a matter of days. It's a full-blown civil war now, the only thing missing is an organised Syrian opposition to Assad.

Hopefully it does escalate and foreign countries get involved, or the rebellion, and horrific killings (and I mean really horrific, kids and stuff massacred) will go on for a long time. Loong time.

Umm if turkey invades NATO sure as hell wont get involved as NATO is a defensive alliance only. As long as the US stays out of it idgaf (in political sense, yeah of course i care but theres nothing we can do). The only way NATO would get involved is if Russia decides to weigh in. Then you can bet your cucumbers that Obongo will drag all of NATO into this shitfest.

LOL'd. It's my birthday in less than a month and you're even younger than me and yet you posted in this thread. I know about war, do you? Oh wait, you don't as you proved that you never ever read the news or anything related to war in the other topic by Mr McNipples.
