See what Dave and co have been doing: https://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=39941 Dave is kicking things into high gear. Starting with internal adjustments and now we all see some of the changes being enacted (strat updates). What do you guys think, will atwar get its long overdue facelift? Will it run itself into the ground because of too many disappointments? Will I need to make a steam account for aw?? ![]()

I firmly believe atwar will be recognized by the gaming community soon enough. Imo the only things that really have to be done are fixing the exploits and then putting it on steam.

As long as the editor is down atwar is down. Its one of the most attracting features about this game and it's been basically busted since 2015. (Html5 editor not silverlight)

I think this wraps up into exploits/bug fixes. I agree with what Sid said, Steam is the new big gaming platform, and just about everyone has one. Would be cool to promo it on steam

Yes and no. Bugs and exploits in game are more of interest to competitive players (it's where the exploits/bugs are more decisive/relevant). As to bugs related to map and scenario edition, they are more of interest to map-making and scenario-playing members. Helly is right, there are more than overdue effective answers to the map-making interested players (actual and future).

yea, we're saying the same thing D i was just looking at the game as a whole; bug fixes across multiple platforms would obv be the best for the most people

You should come online during weekdays on it..noob As soon as Map Editor is fixed and brought back to a perfectly usable, stable way, that won't get hours of map-labour done, it'll take around 3-4months to renew the Mapping Scene with new maps and give it a new life. Possibly less, as some players been stacking maps for 4 years now, ready to be released or at 70+% progress, ready to continue, tweak and publish. 2020 will not only be the year of Joe Biden but of AtWar's glory!

completely true. also several of the bugs and exploits present in maps like 3v3 EU+ arent in some of the map-maker maps due to us figuring out creative ways to get around those issues (mostly tik, tunder and a few others.

Promise that, if we get a good map editor fix soon 2020 will have some bomb maps from myself, so many nice projects just waiting to be worked on.

Same here, I have around 5 other map projects stored, but Adus, an oldie mapmaker last time I was told by him, had 30 maps stored halfway finished, just imagine the Golden Era!

Hells LOTR Third Age, Hells God Gold and Glory the Finale, Hells Greek Colonial, Hells Enigmatic Galactic Colonial, and Hells After the End. Are all ready to be released with minimal work after I can set the turn units become available, and borders stop being invisable when hosting. That's not even counting the others that still need some tlc!
