Competitive Map editing contest?

If I were to host a competitive map editing contest and even design trophies for 1st, 2nd and 3rd place as well as find suitable judges, Would anyone be interested? Now I know it's a bit of a hassle using the SL editor but it's not entirely impossible which is why I am asking. (I myself wouldn't be judging so no need to worry about that)

SL editor disconnects me every minute.

ivan mentioned progress in his newest post so maybe a HTML map contest if things turn out well ?

As in a general map editing competition to find the best editor or a competition to see who can produce the best competitive map like vril hosted?

I find myself being able to use SL kind of well so it was just an idea, but yes once the HTML5 editor comes then i will be hosting a contest instantly

right, looks like its going to be a repeat of that. was checking everyones interest before i put effort in making the trophies and all the other shit required.

I will try if there gonna be a map editor. waiting a week to test your map only allows you to fix maps not designing them

Sure.

Sure; however I will piggy-back off of what was previously stated in that SL is buggy at times. I have a map that for some reason part of the inside border (not the border itself) is now in another portion of the map but it stills in the editor and map as being in the right spot but when you select the country it is clear that part of it is in the wrong spot. That and I usually have to wait 6-8 hours before being able to test map changes to my maps because I guess the html game doesn't register the changes right away.

TLDR; I would love to do something like this, whether we wait for html (dead meme) or not.

Guys first, to have new map makers we need that map editor on htlm5 works, the only good map I saw these day is the new Pyrrhus scenario (Lord of the Ring) so I don't think you can make a contest for now.

Can currently continue working on maps in the SL map editor if you are using Internet Explorer

I've asked for permission which I'm sure will be a yes, then I will put together the official thread in the tournaments forum with all the details and potentially the judges(might leave them out till the time for judging) if anyone has any ideas on rules and such then feel free to message me.

id love to the map is stuck like so many of my old maps right where it is, i get a web socket error and the save button breaks when saving.
