Lagging using Ie and chrome

16gb ram + fx 6300 processor and I'm lagging so much :C

Probably your Internet Connection. Sometimes it's the server as well but most of the times the problem must be you.

That's weird because google chrome should be the fastest at running aw.

Why would you think that? It's litterally the worst browser to use for aw. Internet Explorer and Edge are the only two that aw us optimized for because amok used microsoft resources to create the game.

Step 1. Speedtest.net. If your speed is above 3mbps, your internet is not the issue. Clear cache (history) on both browsers.

Step 2. Right click the taskbar, go to Task Manager, check your CPU usage. If its at 80%+ then you know the problem. Find the CPU muncher and kill it.

Step 3. Check your hard drive for space. If there is plenty of space left, check for disk fragmentation. Do this by downloading Microsoft Disk Defragmenter and running it.

If that still doesn't work PM me and I'll take a look.

cuz im talking from experience. u get less bugs and faster performance with chrome than firefox i.e and opera. idk about edge though.

and im not talking about which is browser is best for aw. i'm talking about speed.

Are you referring to mouse lag when moving around the map? If so, try disabling/enabling hardware acceleration when available. If that doesn't work you can always try Opera, or Edge if you have Windows 10.

ya, from my experiance gc was fastest compared to ie, opera and firefox.

From experience;

Internet explorer: fastest

Firefox: can range PD infantry from bordeaux to madrid

Chrome: cant even do the ireland shortcut.....

Yes it sucks but i still use it xd

Mmm same thing happened to me today with chrome , my net was fine but when i tried loading atwar it lagged so badly that i couldent even join games it would just throw error reports so i just ended up playing another game .

From experience;

Internet explorer: fastest

Firefox: can range PD infantry from bordeaux to madrid

Chrome: cant even do the ireland shortcut.....

IE can do what firefox can

Try google chrome to play atwar.I use chrome and it doesnt lag.

Make sure that hardware acceleration is enabled on chrome, opera. I had the same problem when I had an fx 8350. I got a Ryzen cpu and it definitely improved my performance but it didn't completely eliminate the issue.
