Also if we look at it skill wise, I think spain is also the #1 country that requires the least skills of all of them.

imagine you have a rank 5 team and both you and him are meant to play west. Would you rather have him go Spain instead of France?

If your answer is yes, then uhhh... idk, nothing to say. But if your answer is no, then you should really reconsider that statement.

France can go for Italy, UK, NL, Belg, Swiss or Spain in t1, unless you try some weird Blitz expansion.

Italy can go for France, Spain, Swiss, Austria, Czech, whole Balkans or Greece.

Italy wins. Spain and France are tied for last place.

That logic might be useful in 1vs1, but not in 3vs3. Expansion is vital, but you will always run a constant danger of someone else taking off your expansion. Trust, it doesn't really matters how many countries you can reach in 3vs3, but how many countries you can secure to yourself.

In the case of Spain, it can take London/Paris/Rome and many of their cities, all important countries with many gameplay opportunities.
France can only take luxembourg.
Italy can take Malta and maybe Hungary/Slovakia/Slovenia/Croatia.

I believe France/Italy and all the troll picks are situational, and requires a good team setup to work. They mostly seek to gangbang (unless their team helps them to slow roll, like UK-France Slowroll ), sometimes even with suicidal moves, to give their team an advantage. Spain is less dependant of theses types of situations.

Overall there are still many variable factors to consider, including your team picks and your personal skill level, to determine if a country will fit better than another country. Here chess's view about going Italy with UK and Ukraine makes sense. You could ever go troll if that works for you. Both UK and Italy could coordinate to go Paris and beat Spain's rush there.

With that said, why do we make this analysis. I believe the clever people made their judgement based on which countries are weak in most of the situations that they encounter. I made the statement about how the strongest countries are those able to guarantee the most income/reinfs to themselves in most of the situations. If my statement is wrong, then perhaps you guys can directly address it instead.

That certainly explains why my win rate with italy is better than mine with france and spain....
