New Game Starting Now Modern Warfare I https://atwar-game.com/games/?link=2137579151 1. Overview: As promised, this is the launch of a brand new game series entitled 'Modern Warfare'. This is the Beta release so if you see an obvious error or inconsistency, don't keep it to yourself, let me know and I will correct it. Those of you who are regulars will note that the maximum number of turns is now 200, up from 100 in previous games. I have also dispensed with the game password. Unfortunately, this will result in players joining games who are unaware of the Game Protocols specifically the one that restricts turn one (1) movement outside of a player's home country. To mitigate this I have made two changes. First, no units are available for purchase on turn 1. Ground and most naval units are not available for purchase until turn 2 while air units are not available for purchase until turn 3. Some units like Nuclear Attack Submarines are not available for purchase until later turns. The second change that I have made is to reduce the attack value for Ground Main Defence units from 10 to 5. Together these two changes will significantly reduce the number and quality of units available for movement on turn one (1). 2. Protocols: Please observe the following game protocols: • Do not move units outside of your home country on turn one (1). • Do not leave a game by timing out. If you have lost the game, do the right thing and surrender. • Take your turn in a timely manner. Remember, the clock's ticking. 3. Settings: • The maximum number of players is fifteen (15) • The maximum number of allies is one (1). • Starting funds are $50,000. • Minimum rank is five (5). • Maximum number of turns is two hundred (200). 4. Player's Invitation List: The Player's Invitation List will be managed as follows: You will be added to the Player's Invitation List if: • You are a new coalition member. • You join a coalition game (coalition and non-coalition players). • You request to be added (coalition and non-coalition players). You will be removed from the Player's Invitation List if: • You have been inactive in atWar for more than 7 days as of the game release date. • You request to be removed. • You have been banned from coalition games.
