I have recently (in 1v1s and duels) been struggling to beat pros in lategame situations. I seem to be able to stay in the game till about t10-12 then I slowly lose any control I had, if any, in the game. Can some of you give me advice on how to get better and lategame (specifically how to close games out when it can go either way)?

Available here, with many other examples: http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=22473 Basically, the following: When you are winning/losing by a bit: 1. Take every single city possible. 2. Defending is a lot easier than attacking. 3. Wall / don't let your opponent wall. This goes far beyond wfing a single city / the country that you have in front. 4. Don't be mean/predictable. Taking major cities might be sweet for their importance, but don't underestimate the power of the small cities. Just as said before, try to take every single dammit city! 5. At some point you want to consider using marines+stealth tactics if the game is taking way too long. When you are losing hard (i.e, east have 100 more units than you or west already ate through the northern balkans / poland / scandinavia region): 6. Limit your resources to certain key countries. 7. Turn Blocking ports/key cities, making key walls or simply luring your opponent to defend/attack the wrong city are major moves for gamechange. 8. Take advantage of your opponent's mistakes. 9. Have fun 10. Never surrender.
