If you search to forums for guides to the different strategies, it will give you all you want about that. Also search "turnblocking", another very important factor of gameplay. Go for the following upgrades 1st: Submarines (dirt cheap to unlock, Subs are naval units that are stealth), Marines (a step up from subs, marines are ground stealth units). Naval Transport Capacity Upgrade (makes naval transports have +5 capacity), Air Transport Capacity Upgrade 1 (gives Air transport Units +1 capacity). by this time, you will be much better at atWar than when you 1st started. You might want to get a few new strategies to test, and find what you like and are good at (I like Master of Stealth, and Guerilla Warfare). Next, you need to choose whether you like Marines (stealth) or Infantry (non-stealth) better, and get the upgrades associated with that (For marines, get "Expendable Ground Stealth", "Faster Ground Stealth", "Faster Naval Stealth" and "Naval Stealth Capacity") (For Infantry, get "Faster Ground Main Defence" and "Expendable Ground Main Defence") Look around in the forums, and you will find hundreds of other guides and topics that will help you. Good Luck!!!

I'd recommend mastering walling capitals. That was the biggest change I had to make moving from beginner room to main. Everyone walls in main. No one walls in beginner. After that this game is all about mobilizing. Learn how to move armies quickly. Use transports and practice land passages with them.
