Flash development is the only thing i know, and the below statement disturbs me so much: "atWar uses Microsoft Silverlight plugin - it's great for complex web games, very smooth, less resource-hungry and less obtrusive than Flash" Therefore I quit playing atWar (afterwind) because Flash is more important than this game to me. Flash is in fact a lot less resource-hungry and obtrusive than Silverlight and everyone knows it.

You don't have to delete flash to install Silverlight. And Unity > Flash

This. Also, the whole game is being converted to HTML5.

It's that same age old question. Who's faster? Quicksilver or The Flash?

I believe something else than you maybe, but let's not force each other to accept own idea. Ok? I am serious about flash, and i play any games on other platforms including silverlight, but the creators of atWar seem like "Sell your soul, and hit continue to play my game".

I think you understand it wrong. You don't need to uninstall flash to install silverlight, you can run them simultaneously without side effects. at least to my knowledge from experience

Don't be silly. Your soul has been sold the day you turned on your first computer and opened the first web-browser. I actually know Flash from the time it was still a product from Macromedia, which later was bought by Adobe. I actuall programmed Flash, when it was still version 3.1 (around 2000/2001). If you don't want to pick between Flash and Silverlight, then don't... just pick both!
