I want to highlight things mods can do which we mere mortals cannot, because lately there are some people trying very hard to have this status, however it can be very dangerous in the wrong hands (more than you previously thought so), although maybe there are current mods already abusing without our knowledge...?

(By all means this is not absolutely EVERYTHING a mod can do and you might already know these things so I apologize if I hurt anyone's ego)

What can an AW mod do: the obvious ones of course;
- warn/mute/ban
- delete topics/lock topics
- edit posts/delete posts.. maybe more.
The (maybe) not so obvious:
- Cannot be banned from games
- Cannot be muted/ignore listed
- Can enter your private games without the password. *Optimized by the /afk command
- Change game settings without them being accepted by everyone/during the game turns
- Change game settings without being in the game
- Check your IPs (and where you live )
- See who are in a certain game lobby/ See who is spectating a game
- Delete in-game chat posts

As I already mentioned, there may be more that I don't know/missed. Mods please don't delete this, since this post isn't to bash at you guys, instead it's a 'warning' towards the community that most players should not be trusted with these powers so don't just recommend anyone to become a mod since it is self-evident that they have a major influence over the community.

This has been your m8 with a warning

It would be much helpful if you did tell. BTW why is this a "very bad thread", I just don't want the idiots of the community to be considered/become Mod by donating cash or holding a few tournaments. All's good my friend

Thanks for your consent, also that mute/unmute rule just contradicts itself so I didn't bother with the useless words.

This thread doesn't discourage helpful guides and what not; rather the blind support people give them. And also just to let the community know about what their fellow mods can do, this doesn't harm anyone.

I don't quite get what you are getting at here. Yes that is true, but, mods arnt stupid. Believe me, ahahaha, even though they are harsh sometimes with punishment, they have been pretty efficient thus-far.

Also, who are you talking about people who want to be mod? I can think of 2, but how would r3 understand this.

Did you even read the full post? You never know if a mod is spying on your private games or has changed the settings in a world game etc etc.
This is obviously an alt; oh suddenly this r3 appears out of nowhere with all this knowledge!

Don't do anything or say anythingthing you wouldn't regret. If you do that then no punishment will come.

Yes I read whole post.

A mod can't unban themselves if they get banned right? And a mod doesn't have power to ban an admin, right?

I dare you to disrespect either columna or devil... I dare you to talk something bad about such cute, lovely, funny and caring mods!

GG, I think I won this one

My point is, and this is my opinion, mods aren't disrespected for being a mod / game police, but for how they interact with the rest of the community and how they use their power.

Mods can't read private messages.

As for the "see who is where" stuff... we all can see it.

I'll avoid entering on the discussion about your point of views avoid mods, just saying you shouldn't ruin your own thread with off-topic comments.

(Psst, I support, no more mods! Self-moderation is what we need).
