Oh no RA is still op, but we'll need to do something about pd. Maybe alter the defensive values of normal inf. For 4 years we have all played not noticing the absense of the city defense bonus but wondering why defence was so weak. PD was considered op without it, well now pd inf have + 2 def. Standard inf have +1 and gw/pd militia have +1. This is a dark time for rushers. PD will need at least -1 def. Or we should consider resetting it to what it was with -2 to pd and -1 to deafult inf.

Hahahahah, so basically what you guys are thinking of is: We accept RA rush, blitz rush, whatever more op boosts will come rush, and yet no other strategy but PD to deffend vs them? GG. Nice trying to make this game fully rushmode. I mean I know you so called ''pro's'' want to have everything as fast as possible, like 1 min games, 2 min games, whatever. But changing the strategies to furfill that need is just ridiculous.

go educate yourself on the changes before you start complaining and throwing around accusations dear. Defensive gameplay is stronger than ever(a good thing imo). even if we implement the nerf i just suggested. Blitz is the same, but the defensive capabilities of all the strats was just boosted.

This wasnt a change implemented by the mods. this was a bugfix. City defence bonuses werent registering and amok fixed it. http://atwar-game.com/forum/topic.php?topic_id=21419

Wasn't it you who was saying couple days ago: ''Its so rare to see a turkey who doesn't rush before turn 5'' No single 1v1 but some exceptions last longer than 10 turns lately. Idk from what statistics you base these ''facts'' But like I suggested 1000million times, it would be better for the community to avoid these kind of discussion, since you as mod are aware of the changes, but we the community should just guess what has changed etc. We can't always listen like doggies of what moderators have to tell about the changes of strategies. So freaking make a forum for every strategy changes, since its really annoying people are trying to change strategies without discussing it with the community (who also play those strategies). And saying yo go educate myself is pretty harsh, I mean why are you attacking? It seems like I can never express my opinion about strategies when it comes to disagreeing with you without getting insulted in an ''accepted way''

Just -1 def off PD, and nerf RA. PD will still be STRONGER than before and RA should stay reasonable compared to rest of strats.

Just out maneuver whatever pd user you are facing. Not like theyre going to attack your stack or anything. Maybe keep a stinch of your own infantry to fortify whatever cities/ area that the pd user is going for and then swoop around him and put pressure around his main collection of cities

since this thread about RA I gave that example, and it's true. When 50% of duelers start to use RA after it's tanks cost went down to 90, then some thing is wrong. 5k games are ruined with RA attack, stack, spam and repeat. lao has already mentioned it is gamebreaking, and he is not wrong. there's obviously a reason why he's saying that and you definitely shouldn't ignore it.

1. I cannot really argue with Laochra about RA after he called us all half-brained. You're implying his argument is intact, it is not. 2. The recent bug fix changes everything. 3. We can duel 5k RA at anytime you want. I'd probably beat you with Blitz Ukraine or GW greece though. Specialization does exist in a gameplay that was already broked from the start (5k Europe). Ukraine is simply too strong with anything, but more specially with Blitz. 4. 50% of duelers? Nice make-up stat. I've certainly see an increase of the players using RA as it was expected, but this doesn't even got closer to 50%. However I'd still invite you to prove those stats. 5. 9 attack for 90 cost? Still not efficient enough to match IMP militias, nor reinf-efficient enough to match NC destroyers. In a combination of both though, it does makes sense that it haves such reinf-cost-efficiency when it is the only unit that is being boosted in the strategy. 6. There's nothing wrong with -1 defense for tanks as Cthulhu, as Me, as crey, and as a lot of other players had asked for. More than it however, is a harsh Nerf that could push the strategy back to the grave.

Yeah sure we could do that, you win a few, I win a few. few nice rolls here and there. But honestly, I myself have beaten an RA poland with GW greece. TB luck and skill is needed for this. otherwise I would've been crushed. Easily. Not seen blitz, but that's not what this topic is about.
Maybe I've just recorded all duels from the past year and to the present time, stored away in CD's cabinet. Seriously though, I have seen MORE than half the duelers using RA, I was being nice with 50%. Heck, Goblin (a very AWESOME dueler) even told me in clan chat that he was using UK RA to pwn noobs. UK. United Kingdom. A country that has just over 1k starting cash. Nice
Are you kidding me clovis1122? 90 cost is way efficient for a main attacking unit, with 9 ATTACK. I've heard stories about spamming 50 tanks with bulgaria in 5k. That is 450 attack. As I said, spam attack repeat.
Don't forget to include me in that! Oh wait that was like 3 months ago, acq said I think. Yeah I changed my mind, defense won't cut it. You'll only kill the tanks with a TB and no Relentless attacking player will stop moving.

My point was that we shouldn't compare RA in 5k europe because, as Goblin said once, that gameplay is too dependable of tbs and lucky rolls. It was already broken before RA got the boost.
Cut that off there.... of course, we can beat any "noob" with "anything". I'd accept your fact is other players vouch for it though (that RA is being used in more than half of the duels).
That's impossible until probably Turn 6 or so. With a player with the average skill level though, it becomes almost impossible to do. SS, evidences, proofs are welcome...
They must keep moving unless they want to lose. That's actually a good thing that changes RA's mechanics. With 5 max def they already can't hold almost anything, now with 4 def they will have to either buy infantries (who would still have 5 def) or keep moving from city to city (which is a pretty bad choice due to the 3 turns required before acquiring 100% income). Before anything though, this is one of the changes with most approvals. I'd like to see this first than anything just to see how it goes.
