Best anime ever?

Trigun, Darker than Black, Deathnote(season 1), Black Blood Brothers, Blood+, Naruto, Bleach, Cowboy Beebop, DBZ, FMA:B

Those would be my top ten in no particular order.

Vampire Knight? anyone?

I've only watched 3 anime series and they're all of the "more serious" type (no yaoi, etc), but Code Geass R1 + R2 is my favourite. And watch R1 before R2, it's much better this way.
Made me cry 3 times over the series and it left me depressed for a while, I must say!

I thought I would start to read this series seriously and bought 9 volumes. And then I realized that the story was getting very stupid and that it wasn't quite good either so I stopped buying it.

Anime has great visuals, terrible audio.

I hate reading captions, and I've yet to see an English voiced anime that doesn't sound awkward and foreign as fuck.

A shame too, because some of the plots are actually interesting, and they're generally pleasures to look at, unlike western cartoons.

I occasionally watch Avatar.

Considering I have nothing but the purest hate for all anime and the only one I could ever watch is Dragon Ball, I'll say that.

Not Z though. F**k that s**t.

Everyone has different tastes, but for me it is Hellsing, both TV and OVAs. It has everything I want from a show: action, good graphics, some deep sense and nazi vampires.
