These days, I am having long discussions with my friends about abortion.
Few of us stands behind opinion that's a murder and few are staying behind opinion that's not a murder (saying that zygote isn't human being), but women's right.
I don't understand how can someone, with clear mind, negate abortus as a murder and call it as women's right.
Evolution of human being doesn't start suddenly by birth, but by conception when man's gametes unit with women's, and should be respected and protected it from conception to natural death.
Giving a women right to decide should she born or not her own child is giving women right to decide should she commit a murder or not. Okay, even if we accept abortus as women's private right, it still doesn't change the fact you purposely stopped someone's life. Arguments as 'what if she doesn't have money to restrain that kid after birth' or 'its better than the child ends up in a home for abandoned children because his mother didn't want a child' are not arguments, but bullshit unbased theories which are forced by people who support abortion.
So, if my family doesn't have money to give me food and rest of primary life things, they should kill me, right?
Each person is responsible for their actions, so if you took a step to have sex, you are accepting the possibility of the conception of the child and just because you don't want a child, it doesn't give you fucking right to stop his evolution by abortion. Then you shouldn't step in sex or should take that dick in ass, rather than in vagina.
Right on life is above all other rights (such as, the mother's right to elect whether to child) and non theory can refute it.
Mother Teresa said on her speech at the Nobel Peace Prize in 1979, that "the greatest destroyer of peace today is the cry of an innocent, unborn child. When a mother can in her lap kill her own child, which is then worse crime there than that we start alone kill each other? "
What if I tell you that there were over 43 million abortions during 2003. Almost 118 000 abortions per day, which is almost 5 000 abortions per hour and which is over 81 abortion per minute. Are we really that fucked up?

Khal is right about overpopulation , the planet cant support anymore people who consume so much , it will mean our own extinction. And you want to make abortion ilegal which will make a massive boom in pop from which will damage the ecosystem so much we couldnt ever recover.

If you can't afford for whatever reason to keep a child to term, then you shouldn't be taking the risk. Yes no form is 100%, but nowadays when the man can use a condom, and the woman can get on the pill, and, I'm not going to go too far in it to not make anyone uncomfortable, but the guy can also finish elsewhere if they are that adamant about not keeping the child nor keeping the child and giving it up for adoption. Also, I realize I was not clear about the exceptions I would not judge a person on which is rape, incest, and life of the mother. In those three instances, I would really only not judge the one threatening the life of the mother. For the rape and incest one, I won't judge you as much, but that baby can still be given u for adoption so there really are not many excuses.

I doubt we will go extinct from overpopulation. Let's be honest, those in wealthier nations will be fine. Those in poorer countries will be the ones that end up dying from disease and famines.

Lmao, but we will. All branches of science make that claim. Offcourse you are right on your second sentence, 3rd world will go out first, thats just logical, but the rest of us will still be on the clock. Read a little further than climate change. Read about the effects of deforestation _> draughts, USA is already experiencing shortage of water. Also everything is connected because the more forests we cut, the less rain-> less organisms, oxygen, water, the more food we consume-> more farms, more pollution from waste, more deforestation, more water consumption because not only cows and pigs consume insane ammounts of water, but the farms that make their food also consume insane ammounts of water. Not to mention the oceans which are fucked, thousands of species got extinct and these are also connected as ecosystems rely on the balance of species, they fall like a domino and pretty fast after a point. Anyway long conversation, so much more to it, its your duty to read up on it, i would suggest to read less about Trump, more about enviromental

Anyway, im out. Im leaving the thread for the day with a question, particularly directed to theists (goblin dont bother answering, we know your answer  )Taking for granted, recent medical advancements that allow clinics to run tests to the pregnant woman and determine the sex, eyes and illness predispositions of the stronger sperms, we can safely predict that soon we can have more info of our future babies. Therefore if you went to the doctor with your pregnant wife and your doctor shared the picture of your unborn and it was the one below, would you abort it?

Nice, You started with insults, nice one. that hurt my feeling and changed this thread in its entirety fyi i'm aware of the churches investment in backing this matter. but you were the first person to bring it up, and religion doesnt actually contribute anything to the argument its just an institution that says some words, some people allow there morals to be guided by it but most people here i feel aren't those people. (most not all i don't know who's really religious or not) So i had a big speel set out like last time, but i don't think your going to read it. and i'm pretty sure it wouldn't make a difference. Everyone in this has already demonstrated they are in one of 3 categories. Also those studies are in context. A species protects its young, when it isnt doing that willingly then something is wrong. on the flip side of that i have no problem with the death of someone who should be old enough to protect themselves. If they can't protect themselves to bad. You could also just limit the amount of drugs given out to people instead of killing children,most people getting drugs are getting them for the wrong things or not completing a course of drugs properly anyway and they are the real dangerous people out there creating super bugs to end the world. By the way contraception and preventative measures are a much better idea. the pill and the like. killing baby's is a whole other level of messed up no matter how you try to justify you argument with overpopulation.

Lets turn the question around on you Khal. Lets say a religious family goes to the doctor and learns that their child is predisposed to be gay, are you okay the parents deciding to abort the unborn purely because they are homophobic? Similarly, would it be a moral choice for them to abort it just because it's a girl and they wanted a boy? If not why? As you say it's nothing more than a useless cluster of cells

All laws of the lands are based on religion. Religion formed most means of structure and law in society. Now times have changed, religion is being withdrawn out of society and The good has become bad and the bad has become good I have no religion myself but, I know we are not a bang. It's impossible for there to be 0 matter, organisms ect to create a universe. Science use the term theory a lot and when they do people jump up and preach it as truth. I stand by my views, im not a hypocrite ( most of the times ) Would i judge them harshly? Yes Would i throw dog shit in their yard every day and slash their car tires occasionally? Yes Would i protect their right to choose whether they will keep the baby or abort it? Yes Feels important to note im not a baby killer. Although i would be all for skipping 1 or 2 generations by banning pregnancy for some decades, globally, so earth population can become sustainable again. I would even vote to enforce the death penalty on those who brake that law. Im pretty serious when it comes to my planets survival. But harming any innocent human being conscious of its existance? No. Hell im not even killing the spiders in my house, i just take them out.

Hue no i am not a nazi and neither do i love Hitler. I would have no regrets though, if tommorow all people who i deem as dangerous to human development, peace and prosperity, were euthanised. On the terminally ill, im not sold yet, but i do think its kind of nonsensical to keep "vegetables" and "psychopaths" alive.
