The idea is basically one giant map with everyone in the Atwar community to be in the same game. There would be no specific map type like the ideal World, Europe, Asia... and so on. The entire map would be equal. For example: A map in the shape of a 1000x1000 square. But each individual square would count as a single Capital or City. And every Capital or City would be either a Neutral or a Player. If there were let's say 300 people total that have been active within the past 3 weeks, then those people would be eligible to participate in the game. Placement of each person in this map would be set randomly so it would give it more competition in the game itself. Teams/FFA: 1. The game could be set where each clan is their own team. 2. There could be an ally system implemented into it but could only allow a certain number of allies. 3. The game could be a free for all. Any would work. Turns: The game clock could be set more so like a casual game. With perhaps 24 hour turns. Victory Conditions: Capture and hold capital for 2-4 turns. 1. If each clan were their own team, then the entire clan would need to eliminate every opponent in the game. 2. If there were an ally system and the maximum allies would be, lets say 5, those 5 people would need to eliminate every opponent in the game. 3. If the game were a free for all, ideally it would be every man for himself.(no secret alliances) Loss Conditions: Once you're out you're out. Upgrades/Strategies: It would start out as an equal opportunity for all. Everyone has no upgrades and no strategies. Basically in this game everyone starts out as rank 0. So the more you attack the more SP you would gain. All upgrades and strategies would have to be bought by SP. Once you buy the Upgrade you would own it forever in that game. Once you buy a Strategy, you have the ability to change your strategy in game, but it would cost SP each time. Upgrades would need to be drastically reduced. Strategies would differ. Generals: IMO everyone who has premium should start out with a rank 0 general. And would need to buy the upgrades like you would normally, but with reduced prices of course. If your general is killed in battle, since it is a bit of a boost. You would be able to buy back the general with either SP or real money. This way no one is afraid of attacking and losing their general. Offline/Holidays: If for some reason you aren't able to login every single day you make your moves, or perhaps its the holidays and you are away for a good amount of time, there could be a way to buy peace. But to prevent people from buying peace for days or even weeks at a time since some people are crazy enough to spend that much money. There would be basically a cooldown on the peace. So you could only peace for a certain amount of time before you could buy it again. Capitals/Cities: If every territory were the same in symmetry we would initially have a square based map. In each territory there could be perhaps be 3 cities along with the capital. Each Territory would be big enough so you cant reach from your own occupied territory to their capital in one turn, that way they would be able to see you coming, and this would make people need to strategize accordingly when attacking. Funds: Every territory would start out with the same economy. It would obviously differ based on troop upkeep and population casualties so those would all stay the same. Please give me feedback on what you all think. If you don't understand some parts just let me know and I will explain. Thanks AW Community!

I don't think it would'be viable because in a 1000 x 1000 game assuming everybody get a city, there would'be one million players and one million of capitals/ cities. this would eat anyone's PC. But even 300 players in the same game is already too much to most of the PC's. Heck, even 20 players gives terribly lag sometimes. Also, since every square is a city in anyway, there would'be one million of cities. Not even RP goes that far. Did I got it wrong?

There would be no corners, It would be the same as a world map because there would be no end to the map, it would go on continuously in circles like a world map does.

I have seen plenty of games based off this same similar idea, some hold up to even 3,000 players. With no lag. And the 1000x1000 game was just an example.

This would be so cool. though if you lose a general in a game what is this about being able to buy it back, are you talking about in the next game or in the actualy game where you lost it, cause being able to lose a gen and just buy it back in the same game is ridiculous.

Assuming the game would be a very long one, and General gives a fair amount of boost to all units, you could be able to buy a general back for a certain amount of SP(it would have to be a large amount of course). Or perhaps be bought back with real money. This is just an advantage that players would be able to have throughout the game.

i dunno. i think its a bit against the whole strat angle of the game. if you lost a gen its lost thats what makes killing gens and losing gens such a fun part of individual battles and areas of conflict, if your able to buy back the gen well then there isnt as much attention going to be given to that gens stack as there would normally be given. i like pretty much the whole idea except for just that ,about the gen. but sure even if this did get the go ahead i'd still play that map so its not really that big a deal for me, just enough of a deal to make me mention it.

Why not use a variant of the City States map? Just edit the default world map so that each city is a separate country, and has same reinforcements/income.

Would be cool idea, but max 20 players and that's usually difficult to get all in one game plus server would be able to handle, but great idea just needs some work.
