Playing UN makes you BETTER!? No just no. I'm sorry but only 2 UNs help you with skills. In most UNs, how do you learn how to expand properly? How do you learn economic management well? You have to be poorer countries to learn that, but those countries might die easily.
I only like UN for role play and it's not very intense. I admit to playing it but for the role play. But I just hate it when a fool just sits there doing nothing. All they do is buy countries and boast income.
UN isn't realistic. RL UN doesn't have very much power. Whilst in most UNs they're OP and can take over the world.
How those you stating these things better your life at all.

Hey guys,
Well I am presenting a new idea that will change the way we play UN!!!
Its one simple new thing, Uns.
Basically I am replacing the 2 UNS currently and making them NATO Forces while I will have a UN player as well but this player deals with politics, loans, auctions, distribution of land, declaration of war, etc. The UN have direct authority to command NATO Players to kill rogue nations. They specifically are meant for killing rogue nations.
So UN will be practically swiss but with protection and authority of course.
NATO doesn't have to speak a word but must follow rules as if they were UN.
UN must also follow rules but they do not kill rogue nations unless NATO is absent from doing so. (Meaning if NATO players left, rogue, quit, etc..)
Another thing is that UN is the sole player that funds Nato. Nato will not receive a lot of income, only enough to support about 200 black eagles.
Which means NATO will need to request additional funding from UN.
I will post this info on the main topic once I have implemented my idea.
This should reduce rogue nations, Increase political diplomacy, make Role Play a lot better, and of course, more realistic.
Any questions let me know!

NATO? Are you serious?
1. They didn't resolve the Kosovo conflict well. Serbians still hate Bosnia, Croatia and Albania.
2. Still didn't defeat the Taliban.
3. Iraq was a failure. People still die, a lot there.
NATO as a world policeman in IRL isn't doing too good. So you made this actually less realistic.
P.S. sorry if I offended you, but I seriously did not see that coming. If I did offend you, I'm sorry.

So basically I will be using japan for my example since I love playing as japan.
Japan says he no longer wishs to be apart of the UN. So he is no longer protected by the UN so anyone can declare war on him. But he can declare war on anyone and the UN cant attack him.

Yes it sounds cool however anyone could separate from un and then the world is at war at an instant, however I think I have a way to make that work.
I will look into it shanman

No, you assume that's what I think. I did not once say that it's realistic with a NATO in it. I did say however that it would make it more realistic. Basically UN 1 and UN 2 were too powerful, everyone must admit to that. NATO has power but relies on UN for funding, UN however relies on NATO to keep the peace. So what's to be said here is that not only did I make UN and NATO work as a team but they can't go rogue on their own and if they went rogue together, I doubt they can even think of taking over the world, too much debt would be in place and UN would be broke themselves trying to fund the rogue NATOS which means UN would be rogue too.
So systematically I have basically eliminated the chance of NATO and UN of taking over the world while making them a powerful force against rogue nations. I will be increasing UN's funding some more so they can better fund NATO.
What would you rather see? UNS taking over the world or a team based UN system that I alone created to prevent that from happening?

1. *facepalm* I just said that you were false, since you said putting NATO in would be more realistic.
2. Cool idea, I admit. But there's a more effective way, a way that requires 2 players. add terrorists, give 100+ defense against UN units. That's the adog way. a UN1 who conquered much of the world got owned by Tunder, who was terrorists.

New ideas.
I had a game where I was NATO and two countries agreed to use nukes. Both NATOS thought this country was rogue while UN did not.
If both NATO's agrees to a policy it is carried out. UN still has more power, but NATO is split into two sections.
NATO 1 has a European base.

NATO should also run auctions even though the winners of the auctions **pay** the UN. This way the UN is not so over burdened.
Also if one NATO disagrees with the other, they cannot declare a nation rogue. Only both of them united.

Greyavenger,
Thanks for your suggestion, I will look into a way to implement that idea but it won't happen for a bit due to other projects in the way. I still need to finish usa territories, start on Canadian territories, work on Chinese territories, boost NATO funding, add a un base near both NATO HQs incase one or both NATOS leave or go rogue, add new event wars, add a new feature to this un, add a new economic funding system for nations, build a voting box (other people's idea with a twist), UN Investigator Units possibly, and much much more....
I will look into your idea when I can Greyavenger

Since japans army is really a defensive force Japan should get a speacial defense unit like korea those also I think North korea is a bit op

NK isn't as strong as SK as SK gets more units but NK receives more income. I only did that to balance the Korean peninsula. Japan already has a special unit with great defense, the navy battle ship. If you look as well on my map japan has pacific islands as well so japan does not have to be strictly defensive, but also offensive, as well as participate in a new event war against the usa, pacific rift (conquer all pacific islands).

Honestly, I think NK should have more units but SK gets a better economy. It will seem a little bit more realistic. And maybe remove 1 NATO, maybe add Illuminati. Illuminati will be a nation without borders, it's not FFA but it can FFA other countries. Should be rich, since according to conspiracy theorists they control the banks. To go with this idea, give vehicles 0-1 range. Then add a transport unit, oil. Then make it so that vehicles can only be made in factories, but inf only in cities. This will make oil wars a LOT more important and more wars, so the UN ends quicker and is more fun.
