Saw a thread on this topic a little while back and I assumed it was supposed to be some sort of collaboration between waffel and skend. I had no idea it was at such an advanced stage with brackets up etc. State of Mind would be willing to participate in a tournament of this nature but I do not know how it would be possible under the current circumstances( with brackets already up etc). I had not even been contacted or anything. Waffel's idea was to have maximum participation and made every effort to involve as many groups as possible. I am not aware of the exact circumstances surrounding Syndicate's decision to not participate but I can imagine it could be related to the treatment of waffel(I could be wrong) . It just seems that there is a haste just to start this, not necessarily about inclusion(seems even evol just late joined). I think Shadow Aces, Winterfell and others like us may be willing to participate if an effort is made to reach them.I do not know if it is too late but maybe some agreement can be reached with waffel and more groups accommodated. Of course it is up to you guys but the entire reason I am even interested in a tournament of this nature is due to the efforts of Waffel

Listen , i posted the idea and waffel said he was going to modify his tournment but at the end he never did it... So i decided to make this new one.
With what waffel said , Syndicate will not partecipate to this cos it is a '' copy tournment''. Well it isnt here are new rules. And if waffel want to make his tournment work he can be more interested ( but he dont give a fuck ... his tournment started a lot of times ago and none play matches).
Regarding to you to partecipate in this , i decided to accept 8 clans cos 16 would have been impossible ... and 8 is fairest number to make a fair double elimination.
So i made the post... 6 clans saw it and joined ... i pred most active clans who didn t join and pred them if they could join . Your clan was not active this season so i thought u were inactive ... I have nothing agains your clan.
Regarding shadow aces ... one of their leaders said to me he want to be sure before joining ... they never letted me know so the spots have been taken.

If this type of tournment works i will make others in future where other clans can can have their opportunity to partecipate ( and i will do my best that CWT works cos i think it makes aw more interesting)

I dont give a fck about my clan? lmao? I was done with it because after I spent fking many hours to fix it, some clans decided to delete them self and others merged, others were inactive. My tournament was including the low ranked clans because they also need a chance to show/proof them self. This is just the top clans vs eachother. Not much new. And you did copy it, and thats all you do. So please dont talk for me, or about me. Thankyou.

The tourney seems fine, the currently most active clans are participating. you can either have a bracket of 8 or 16, i highly doubt 16 active clans can be found on aw to play their games so that this tourney can be completed at least this side of christmas

The rules say the first cw made after the ''starting date'' will be couted for cwt

*Second match in 2nd round
Stalins Martians vs Mortal Kombat

*First Match in losers 1st round
Elite Comrades vs Mystical Society

For both Matches 2 day of preparations and 5 days to do the match
So the ''starting date'' will be 01/10 and the match has to be played till date 06/10

As for 2 spectre won before evol got signed up for this tournament and i think before this tournament started

How exactly is it fine? Illy tournament, illy rules, illy participants. Where is the inclusion, where is the collaboration? Any coalition tournament with limited spaces already diminishes its value, what determines whether one coalition can play instead of another? Is there a seeding criteria, perceived inactivity, who reads forum the most? What is the motive behind this tournament? If waffel was experiencing some difficulty with games, would it not have been a good idea to maybe assist him, help push the games along. I mean the idea of the tournament is promoting the interest of the coalitions right? I received a token response to my interest in this tournament,... no hard feelings.. next time basically.. Teams winning games by default.. great tournament . Just for the record single or double elimination are not the only tournament formats possible, where there is true desire , one can become creative. Of course you must have the desire

it is fine because the tourney found 8 of the most currently active clans. the next funtionable bracket size would have been 16, and thats almost impossible to fill up.

its not an illy tournament, its skends tournament, illy are participating, but its no more our tournament than the other participants.

what inclusion? skend made posts promoting the tourney in global, 8 clans signed up, coincidentally the 8 who are the most active atm in the current season. State of mind were not singled out to play any more than you were deliberately excluded, this is just how it worked.

most tourneys have limited spaces, this tourney in particular since we have limited clans, who else could actively have signed up to make a 16 clan bracket? Shadow aces, state of mind, syndicate? Not particularly active clans atm in any case. Bear in mind most 3v3+ teamgame tourneys have failed in the past and never reached completion, this tourney needed a solution.

Your next few questions are answered in the original post stating the rules of this tourney, those who signed up knew that their games after a certain date would be counted towards this tourney. I feel is shouldve been best of 2, but thats simply my opinion. as i said, this is skends tourney.

Waffels attempt at a tourney failed. Activity problems combined with lack of host effort being the problem. Skends is succeeding, I dont know why skend should be obliged to assist waffel, clan tourneys arent a new idea, he simply attempted to make one which failed.

there are many tournament formats possible, but i dont see any diligent attempts being made at them. This one was created and is working... the first of its' kind in some time. But yet you are here complaining and criticising...

I would like to call Mods attention to remove future off topic from this thread ... this is not place of discussion or criticism ... make another thread if u have anything to say about the tourney in the right forum.
