4th Afterwind 1v1 Tournament Summer 2013
Seedings:
For the seedings i placed all the signups into 2 groups, high ranks and low ranks. Then i completely randomed them against eachother. This is to prevent high ranks playing each other in the first round, but it also prevents that the strongest player start with the weakest opponents. Scedule & Planning:
I will give 1 week for matches the losers bracket, 2 weeks for the winners bracket. The first round starts now, and your match has to be played before Monday 24 June. If you cannot get in contact with your opponent, PM in time! Without any notification before the deadline and no matchresult here, all players involved will be disqualified for this tournament and are also not welcome in a future 1v1 tournament. If possible, inactive players will be substitute by one of the reserves.

Victory*: Capture player capital and hold for at least 2 turns
Game duration: 50turns

Initial countries: 1
Extra cities: On
Allow rejoining*: Off
Additional rules:
- The above match rules are default: If both players agree on other gamerules (like other turn duration, map, initial countries or both players don't have premium), then it is allowed to change the default rules. Rules marked with * are non-negotiable
- If there are players with serval accounts; you can enter the tournament with just ONE of them. Entering the tournament with more accounts will lead to disqualification on all accounts.

Leaf, I feel that it doesn't really matter what the rules or game settings are, players will always complain that it "doesn't actually dictate who is better with regards to skill". This happened with the last 1v1 tournament with the Ukraine/Turkey complaints and it will happen now. I'm not saying that the complaints never carry some sort of validity, but I'd respectfully ask that you don't be a killjoy by diminishing the value of the tournament when everyone is just looking to add some competitive edge and have a little fun. (and when Hugo works so hard and does such a good job at trying to make as many people happy as he can)

And now to counter you waffel. This is how the wall would look if he didn't WF it.:  Looks nice right? However you said that 1 UNIT went to SLOVAKIA b/c of his wf. therefore it would have been like this.:  however, it is not his fault for wallfucking hungary, he had every right to do it. he didn't intend to wallfuck austria, but he did b/c of your ridiculous wall. And you know what you said on room chat? i quote: ">I only walled austria". That means wall would have to be like this.:  However, since you said your unit went to SLOVAKIA, that brings me back to picture 2. So either you are bullshititng or just butthurt, the fact is, he didn't wf you.  Now please go away peasant.

Yeah it does complicate things being in different time zones. I work all day on weekdays and i have plans all day o saturday. i might get a day off this week one day but maybe not. so as of now i dont really thing we can schedule a time - primal I don't really know what we should do atm :/

If i got no reply by Sunday your opponent will be replaced with a reserve.
