My favorite spot to start off with is USA East Coast, for obvious reasons.

But I'm not sure if it's the best for MoS... it works great with perfect defense and relentless attack; but I've never tried it with MoS.

Thoughts?

MoS is one of the most expensive strategies. More important than where you start is how you expand. Take high income cities and maintain full country bonuses.

Cameroon mos in 3k op

On a serious note, anything with low starting cost and high income countries around it (ukraine for example) can be best (works specially good with low funds), though these countries around it are usually picked. hence why picking high income countries w high income around it is best

if you are not playing worldame or eurasia, forget mos completely. there are better and cheaper strats for close range combat (sm pd etc)

Exept for the part where you get gang banged

MoS is not an strategy for frontal attacks - Hence why ukraine is a bad pick.

Agree. Germany is pretty op in 10k/15k. But note that learster mostly liked to play 15k starting funds so he could pick a good income country with nice beginning reinfs.

Also in usa I disagree with great lakes, USA atlantic or northeast are pretty OP as MoS with 10k/15k funds, even with 3k canada is usefull in america too. I like to play America and asia most with MoS. They are also good places due the incomes and stuff

I played with him once in world 10k, I took turkey he took UK and so I killed Ukraine and Egypt while fighting off Germany, then he allied with Germany even though he didnt kill anyone and then I killed Germany and he left, so I dont think he is most experienced player on AW.

Bitch please, that germany must have been a good friend I guess..., learster never allies in worldgames/other biggames. He sometimes allies when people decide to gang him with like nearby picks. Learster is god MoS

Well I dont know, I know that at that time Germany was rank 6, I was rank 9 and he allied Germany only after I killed Ukraine and Egypt but I wasnt allied with anyone at that time so its not because of ganging him...

Doesn't sound like Learster... maybe he was letting his favourite nephew practice with his account or something.

Also the name of the thread is 'Best tactic with MoS' so i don't see why he would be obligated to say something redundant.

But if you have 50k/25k game, i still like Pacific expansion for a US challenge, though Great Lakes is better if there's two of you in US. China South in Asia... I wouldn't usually use it in Europe. In 3/5 k games, North Korea, N. Ireland if Europe isn't crowded, or even Denmark works.

I know you're joking, but lately I've enjoyed playing MoS as South Africa. It only works in 50k games, but it's much more of a challenge than the usual picks. By now I'm able to win about 60% of the time this way.
