When I play as Argentina, I get the same problem as playing as Brazil Northeast. Not enough build capacity, and defense lines go up too fast.

By reaching a higher rank. You'll get beaten a few times, but, to be honest, 1v1 south america is hardly the best way to learn the game

How do you reach a higher rank though? It takes forever when you don't know what you're doing. :-(
It's not much fun playing getting creamed..... you feel doomed even before you make your first move.

The best way to learn how to play well is to mostly play with your friends at first. Worked for me.
