The 15th of September is *tomorrow.* In my personal view the HTML version still needs several months of development. I'm hoping that September was stated in error.
Also please tell me you aren't going to kill all the casual games running in Silverlight right now.
Thanks, it was meant to be October, obviously. Casual games will remain and will still be playable, just that you won't be able to start new ones.

Silverlight is not updated anymore, it's not supported in google chrome and it will probably not be supported for long except in IE. That's good enough reason to move on.
Even the latest IE version ("Edge") doesn't support Silverlight. SL's well and properly dead and we should all move on.

Nice but please bring back the zoom out to have more range trick. It no longer works and is gamebreaking, the game isn't the same without it. A shit ton of movements aren't possible in HTML5 because of it.

Well, HTML5 still needs work. I hope in the next month it gets better. Also, will moving the map around with arrow keys be implemented? I haven't seen that yet.

ummm... not really. I believe all those players took SS with 100% zoom. But here are mines:

I though the problem was in my screen, so I tried making the page shorter... the graphics improved a bit(almost not noticeable but I can see some cities better) but the size of the screen doesn't really wort it... http://i.imgur.com/MKg8ssz.png
Well, any chances you can add the light background that SL cities have? That's very noticeable, if added I believe we could compare them better.

I don't think most of us or even any of us are ready to move to html 5 just. Especially since sl version isn't exactly the same as html 5 version. I guess we don't have a choice anyway.

I don't see the difference between Silverlight and HTML5 in game mechanics, just in website design. Gaming is the same, which mean you did a good job. Now return old dark background and it will be perfect.
